3 Ways to Join the MK5K® on Oct.3!

If you live in Dallas or within driving distance, we hope you will join us for the 11th annual MK5K.®

However, this year, we have a new option that will allow anyone to join us -- no matter where you are!

1. The Home Team. You can walk or run in your area. This can be as easy as getting a few friends, business associates or family members walking around a local mall or track. You can even wear your MK5K® T-shirts. To create your own team or join an existing team, register online here.

2. Go Big. If you're not satisfied with anything on a small scale, you can organize your own formal event using resources from our website. Learn how to host a fundraiser. You'll find general guidelines, forms and special tips just for 5Ks all in one place. Want an extra boost? See past blogs from Kara Gallup and Tracy Brown. Both have some great tips for promoting your event!

3. The No-Run Option. Not a runner? Not a problem! The virtual walker option is for you! You can stay in bed, go to the spa or do whatever your heart desires -- and still say you participated! You can even get the T-shirt to prove it! Just register online and select the virtual walker option.

Whichever option you choose, share the love! Use the hashtag #mk5k when you promote your "event" or share your photos.

If Oct. 3 doesn't work for you, that's OK too. Plan for another weekend. However, to get the T-shirts, virtual walkers must be registered by Sept. 20.
