What Volunteers Make Possible

In honor of National Volunteer Week, April 12-18, we’re highlighting some of the ways our volunteers make a difference.

Volunteers are the backbone of The Mary Kay Foundation℠. Take a look and see why.

Upcoming Events. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to host events across the nation. On Monday, April 13, Dallas volunteers will host The Mary Kay Foundation℠ Golf Tournament. Later this month, Oklahoma volunteers make Pink in the Park® possible. And Montana volunteers celebrate their fourth annual 5K and fun run.

Fundraisers. Every week of the year, volunteers somewhere across the country are working on an event to support The Mary Kay Foundation℠. You can see some of them on our Events Highlight page. Interested in holding your own fundraising event? We've got you covered with resources!

Team Up for Women®! This month is a special focus for everyone to do something. Want to know more? Find it here.

Individual Donations. Mary Kay Ash always said it could be your dollar that finds the cure for cancer. We believe that’s true! Every donation matters.

Community Service. Every day, you’re serving your community. We know. We hear wonderful stories all the time. Perhaps you’re bringing a meal to a cancer survivor. Or maybe you volunteer at your women’s shelter. We celebrate you – today and every day!

Whatever your gifts, talents or interests, there’s a place for you to volunteer! Nonprofits need writers, photographers, volunteer coordinators, counselors, cooks, drivers, attorneys, computer techs and gardeners! Find your niche, and feel better! One study found volunteering is good for your physical and mental health.

We’d love to hear how you volunteer!
