Be a Team Player

Be a team player.  Remember that being a success doesn’t always depend on you alone, but also on the work and achievement of your teammates.  Your potential is limited if you try to accomplish everything by yourself.”  (Mary Kay Ash, Management Conference ’85 Speech)

I love Mary Kay’s philosophy on teamwork.  It’s true that we can accomplish so much more together.

We rely on teamwork at my team’s annual spaghetti dinner and fashion show.

This year, all our fashion show models were cancer survivors. Three of them even modeled in memory of their loved ones, who had modeled for us in the past.

The men in our lives pitch in too. They serve and clean up at the event. That way, we don’t have to pay servers and can send more money to The Mary Kay FoundationSM.

We also depend on local businesses to donate items for our auctions and door prizes.

I’m so thankful that we can work together for such a great cause.

This year, we sent more than $2,500 to The Mary Kay FoundationSM.

See what you can do when you work with your team!
